"You have unique emotional needs. During counseling, I employ two unique approaches that I
custom tailor so you achieve quick, long lasting results."
Dan Lippmann, L.C.S.W.
During your initial session, we will discuss whether Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotional
Transformation Therapy (ETT) or a combination of both will lead to the quickest results.
You will benefit from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Emotional Transformation
Therapy (ETT) if you experience:
- Anxiety, panic or chronic stress
- Depression or unresolved grief
- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
- Marriage and Family Problems
- Anger
- Low Self Esteem or guilt
- Chronic Illness or Chronic Pain
- Insomnia
- Negative Habits or Addictions
- Overeating and Weight Problems
Here’s How CBT and ETT Work:
CBT: Change Your Thoughts and Feel Better Now!
How it Works:
- The way we think affects how we feel.
- Our negative thoughts create, intensify, or perpetuate our negative feelings.
- CBT helps people identify and change negative thoughts.
- CBT also helps people develop new habits, behaviors, and communication skills.
- Practice assignments in-between sessions add to rapid, often permanent change.
- Over 350 research studies have documented the effectiveness of CBT.
Benefits:
- Learn practical techniques for quickly changing negative thoughts and behaviors (even if you’ve experienced them for
years)
- Experience rapid relief from negative emotional states, often in a few sessions
- Learn creative solutions to long-standing problems
- Achieve long lasting results in many life areas
ETT: Emotional Transformation at the Speed of Light
How It Works:
- It has been known since the 1930’s that when people look at a rhythmic light their brain waves automatically
synchronize with the speed of the light.
- By looking at a low-speed flashing colored light produced by a portable machine, people enter a relaxing slow brain
wave state while remaining fully alert.
- Just as looking at a blue sky on a sunny day can improve your mood, the process of viewing colored light creates a state
of calm that neutralizes stress, anxiety, depression, and other negative emotions.
- While you verbally explore emotional conflicts during the light stimulation process, I assist you with neutralizing and
releasing stresses, blocks, and upsetting memories.
- During this process, technology and verbal exploration combine to produce long lasting changes at a deep level.
- There are hundreds of research studies that have documented the positive effects of light and color on mood and brain
functioning. ETT harnesses these effects.
Benefits:
- Rapidly changes negative emotional states, often in a few sessions
- Quickly resolves emotional blocks
- Brings forth deep insights and creative solutions to problems
- Creates long lasting changes that lead to improvements in many life areas
There is no need to suffer if you are experiencing emotional upset. I would be glad to talk with you
about your concerns and how I can help you by using Cognitive Behavior Therapy or Emotional
Transformation Therapy.
